Toccoa River Anglers is a fly fishing guide service that specializes in float trips on the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge, the Trout Capital of Georgia. Head guide and owner, Dell Neighbours has been guiding on the Toccoa since 2008.
We strive to offer a quality fly fishing experience for anyone from complete beginners looking to start a new hobby, to advanced anglers wanting to hone their skills, or hunt for trophy trout. Our boats accommodate 1 or 2 anglers, if you have more than 2 anglers in your party it will require additional boats and guides, so please call to make sure we have enough guides available to accommodate your needs.
The Toccoa River tailwater is a north flowing river offering 15 miles of Brown and Rainbow Trout, as well as the occasional Smallmouth or Spotted Bass. We use various private and public boat ramps to allow us to access the stretch that is best for each float trip. Your guide will contact you the evening before your trip to set up the meeting time and place.
Above Lake Blue Ridge, we also offer trips on the upper Toccoa River. This section is not dam controlled, so trips are dependent on water flows and temperatures.
